Xero bookkeeping support for growing UK businesses.
Xero is one of the main cloud accounting platforms we support for growing UK businesses. We help with setup, bank feeds, VAT settings, app integrations, bookkeeping processes and reporting, so Xero works properly for how your business operates.
Why this platform
Why we use Xero
Xero is a strong cloud accounting platform for businesses that need clean bookkeeping, bank feeds, VAT support, app integrations and regular reporting. It works best when the setup is properly configured, the chart of accounts is clear and the bookkeeping process is reviewed regularly.
We use Xero where it fits the client’s needs, systems and reporting requirements. The value is not just the software itself, it is having the right process behind it.

Case study & results
E-commerce bookkeeping and Xero reporting brought under control.
An e-commerce business needed better visibility over sales, fees, payouts, VAT and reporting across its online sales channels. The bookkeeping process had become difficult to follow, with platform payouts, payment processor fees and sales data not always matching cleanly in Xero.
We reviewed the Xero setup, improved the bookkeeping workflow, checked how sales and fees were being recorded and supported a cleaner process for reconciling platform income. This gave the business clearer records, better reporting and a more reliable month-end process.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does Xero cost?
Subscription pricing ranges from around £16 to £70 per month depending on plan. Most SME clients are on Standard (£36/month) or Premium 5 (£52/month). We can hold the subscription on your behalf as a partner.
Is Xero better than QuickBooks?
For most UK SMEs, yes — but not always. QuickBooks is stronger for project tracking, US-headquartered businesses and class/location reporting. We’ll recommend honestly at the discovery call.
Can Xero handle CIS?
Yes — Xero has a native CIS module that handles verification, deductions and monthly returns properly. It’s one of the reasons we recommend Xero for construction firms.
What if I'm migrating from Sage 50?
Most common migration path. Typically 3–6 weeks end-to-end, fixed-fee, with no business disruption — we run the two systems in parallel before cutover.
Will my accountant be able to access Xero?
Yes — accountants get their own login at no additional cost. Better collaboration than emailing PDF reports back and forth.
